The adventure of our Latia family dates back to 2019. Ever since I was a child, my only wish was to be a fashion designer, but making my dreams come true at first seemed challenging and intimidating. That's why I found myself studying Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University when I should have studied design. Like every new graduate after college, I started looking for a job, but there were parts that didn't fit. I didn't want to do this job. Whenever I applied for a job, the answer to the question of where would you like to see yourself in the future was driving me towards fashion and my dreams. Whenever there was a job application exam, I would get sick that day. Finally, I realized that I do not belong to that sector, where I should be is in a very different world of creativity.
In 2019, I started to take the first steps of my brand. First of all, I had to bring my designs to life. That's why I started learning to sew. Afterwards, I felt that my university education was insufficient, so I did my master's in fashion business at Pegaso University. Still, I felt incomplete. That's why I attended The New School Parsons School of Design University's two-year certificate program in fashion business. I still feel that I still have a long way to improve myself, but nothing seems difficult anymore. When a person does what he wants and loves what he does, he can overcome anything.
